GreenSCIES included in Zero Carbon London publication

We are excited to announce that GreenSCIES has been selected as a project for inclusion in the New London Architecture (NLA) research publication, Zero Carbon London.

Zero Carbon London is a new report that examines how London is preparing to become a zero-carbon city, analysing current policies from both city and local governments and reviewing how the private sector is addressing the challenge by setting ambitious standards and developing new solutions. The report will be accompanied by the project showcases, including GreenSCIES, containing the best examples of environmentally sustainable projects in the capital and a list of companies that have signed zero carbon pledges or are formally committing to reduce carbon emissions, providing a snapshot of London’s net zero ambitions to the international community.

GreenSCIES will feature in the NLA Zero Carbon London report launching on 11 November 2020 as well as in the NLA’s permanent online directory.

GreenSCIES is currently investigating innovative design options for its fifth generation heat network, including designing sections in above ground planters to enhance the local cityscape.
